HYPNOBIRTHING

in Exmouth, East Devon

A calm, midwife-led hypnobirthing and birth biomechanics course designed to help you feel confident, informed and in control.

What is Hypnobirthing?

Hypnobirthing is a powerful, evidence-based approach to birth preparation that combines breathing techniques, deep relaxation and mindset work to support a calmer, more positive birth experience. It is a set of practical tools and techniques that help you feel more in control, more informed and more confident as you approach birth.

It’s not about “hypnosis” in the traditional sense — you are always in control. Instead, hypnobirthing helps you understand how your body works in labour and teaches you how to reduce fear, release tension and work with your body, rather than against it.

When you feel calm and safe, your body produces the hormones needed for labour to progress more effectively. Hypnobirthing draws on both evidence-based practice and instinctive birth physiology, helping you reconnect with your body’s natural ability to give birth.

Whether you are planning a vaginal birth or a caesarean birth, the techniques you learn in our classes can help you feel calmer, more prepared and more in control of your experience, whatever path your birth takes.
