Hello and welcome to The Coastal Birth Club — I’m so glad you’re here.

The Coastal Birth Club was created to offer thoughtful, expert, Midwife-led Antenatal Education Classes, Birth Preparation Groups including Hypnobirthing in Exmouth, Devon.

With over 13 years of midwifery experience and a deep-rooted commitment to supporting women’s health, everything here is designed to bring clarity, reassurance and a calm confidence as you prepare for birth and early parenthood.

We currently run small, supportive birth and parenting preparation classes in Exmouth, East Devon. We regularly welcome families from Lympstone, Budleigh, Woodbury, Exton, Sidmouth, Exeter and the surrounding area. Each class is thoughtfully curated to support both your birth preparation and wellbeing — so you feel calm, informed and deeply supported throughout your journey.

    Carrie class was amazing and completely changed my wife’s perception on birth. The class was chilled, we felt comfortable and Carrie provided us with knowledge and confidence to approach birth with understanding and positive feelings. We found that Carrie knew what she was talking about with up to date, current practise and guidlines and equipped us with everything we needed to feel comfortable. We went through some amazing mindset shifts from feeling terrified to seeing birth as empowering. Would 100% recommend.

    Carrie’s course was incredibly informative and gave us the confidence we needed to prepare for birth. Her expertise as a midwife, combined with her personal experience and practical birthing techniques, really put us at ease.     We really enjoyed our antenatal classes and cannot thank Carrie enough. We had tried other classes before, but are both so glad there is finally something like this in Exmouth being run by a midwife who can answer all of your questions (and she really does - nothing is too much for her).

    Our birth ended in an unplanned c-section in Exeter hospital but I felt really calm in the moment using skills that Carrie taught us. My partner also feels that without these classes, he would have found the whole experience really traumatic, but Carrie’s brilliant tips and advice prepared both of us. We will be recommending you to all our family and friends and look forward to watching Coastal Birth Club grow.
