MARCH/APRIL 2027

Imagine walking into your birth feeling in control and deeply calm.

You feel a quiet, unwavering strength and new confidence because you know what your body is doing. You know how to work with it—how to move, breathe and surrender to the incredible power that your body is creating, to deliver your baby.

Your birth partner feels confident supporting you. You feel safe.

The Coastal Birth Club Antenatal Classes, were designed by Carrie, a practicing midwife with over 13 years of NHS maternity experience supporting women during pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period. This course aims to seamlessly bridge the gap between the amazing true science of birth, the deep mindset tools of hypnobirthing and the practical realities of modern day maternity services.

Our small, intimate group sessions are hosted in a peaceful venue in Exmouth and we warmly welcome expectant families from right across Exmouth, Lympstone, Budleigh Salterton, Woodbury, Topsham, Exton, Ebford, Sidmouth, and Exeter.

Intentionally limited spaces to maintain a calm, supportive, personalised experience.

5 Week Antenatal Course

A carefully curated journey through pregnancy, birth and early parenthood — designed to leave you feeling informed, reassured and deeply supported.

The Foundations of a Calm & Confident Birth

✦ We begin by exploring the fundamentals of birth, learning the essential underpinnings so we can build on your knowledge week by week. You will discover the true physiology of labour and learn exactly how you and your baby are going to work together. Together, we will introduce core frameworks and look at practical ways your birth partner can help build a peaceful, safe birth sanctuary from the very first contraction.

Every Path Leads to Your Baby

✦ We continue our journey and focus on the birth of your baby this week — from spontaneous physiological birth and water births, to inductions, interventions & planned / unplanned caesareans. Together, we explore how to navigate modern maternity services, make truly informed decisions and create flexible, personalised birth preferences, no matter what path your journey takes.

Riding the Waves: Your Calm & Confident Birth Toolkit

✦ A beautifully practical session focused entirely on comfort, movement and your birth toolkit. We explore both medical and non-medical pain relief options, alongside the Coastal Birth Club method—a powerful blend of active birth biomechanics, positions and hypnobirthing tools. Partners will learn hands-on techniques so they feel completely ready to anchor and support you.

Postnatal Reunion

A special part of The Coastal Birth Club is the friendships and support networks that naturally grow throughout the course. Our relaxed postnatal reunion brings everyone back together with their babies to share birth experiences, reflect on early parenthood and reconnect over tea, coffee and cake.

Held around four weeks after the final baby in your group arrives, the reunion offers a calm and welcoming space to settle into life with your newborn and continue building the friendships that began during pregnancy.
